The RESCU Foundation is a nonprofit organization established to promote and maintain the health and medical well-being of the participants of Renaissance Faires, historical performances and other artistic events through financial assistance, advocacy, education, and preventative programs. For the past several years, the Ohio Renaissance Festival has been the host to a RESCU Rally during the faire season. This is used as an opportunity to hold an auction to raise funds for the RESU foundation. It normally takes place on the last weekend of September and I was fortunate enough to attend the rally year. It was a lot of fun and I even won an item or two during the rally. One of my goals for this year was to put together a short video that introduced RESCU and showed off the rally. There are a lot of RESCU board members who are also at ORF so I made sure to capture some interview footage with them for the video.
